Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God
Rainforest Falls will be hosted at Christ United Methodist Church, 1232 National Rd., Wheeling, WV, from Monday, July 20th, to Friday, July 24th, 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. Dinner at 5:30 p.m.
At Rainforest Falls, kids explore the nature of God—discovering who God is and how much he loves them! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible Adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies, and test out sciency-fun experiments they’ll never forget.
Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with a Canopy Closing that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We’ve got the curriculum, we’ve set the dates, we ordered our supplies – now all we need is YOU! There is a place at VBS for everyone, so think about what you’d like to do this year to help provide a wonderful, faith-filled experience for our children! We still need volunteers for the following:
- Crafts
- Games
- Snacks
- Crew leaders (lead children from station to station)
- Restroom Monitors
- Decorating
- Meals for dinner from 5:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Because there will be different churches and people attending the ecumenical event, we will have a short training session to review the schedule, job responsibilities, and expectations, and provide a ‘mini’ Safe Sanctuaries workshop as well. We will also decorate and have dinner on Saturday, July 18th, at 4 PM.
