On April 14th, 2024, CUMC will once again hold its popular covered-dish Birthday Luncheon.
A sign-up sheet has been placed in the Narthex for members to indicate what type of side they will bring to supplement the luncheon. The church will provide some chicken, but we will also need salads, vegetables, and starch. You may bring a meat if you so wish. Members of the Fellowship Committee will be present in Fellowship Hall to receive your side dish sometime between 9:15 and 9:45 a.m.
There will be only one service that day in the Main Sanctuary at 10:00 a.m., which will combine the 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. services. When the service concludes, members will move to Fellowship Hall and find a seat at the table of their birth. Surprises might appear for the oldest and youngest members, etc. in attendance.
Don’t forget to brush up on your singing of Happy Birthday. We want this to be a memorable event!
