“Hands up, Hands on, Hands out”
Children’s Church begins Sunday, September 12th, 2012. Children ranging from Kindergarten through the 3rd grade are invited to attend this program which will follow “Children’s Moments” during the 9:45 worship service. They will be excused following Children’s Moments and return to the church service when it has concluded. Teachers will greet them at the back of the church and walk them to their classroom located on the Education Wing of the church.
Bibles to be presented to 3rd and 4th Graders
October 3rd, 2021 / 11:00 a.m. Worship Service
On Sunday, October 3, 2021, children, who are presently in the 3rd or 4th grades and who have not yet received a Bible from the church, should submit their name, no later than September 15th, 2021, to the office manager, Carla Barris, at christumcwheeling@gmail.com, so that their name can be placed on the list to receive a Bible on October 3rd at the 9:45 a.m. worship service.
This is a very special moment in the life of our church family, as we share the word of God with our children.
Sunday School Reconvenes
An Adult Educational opportunity will be offered in the Family Room by Pastor Jake at 11:00 a.m following the service. This space will give those in attendance the opportunity to delve further into the spiritual text offered that morning.
The Inquirers Class has not scheduled a curriculum or time to meet. The class focuses on progressive Christian theology and social justice issues. The Inquirers Class seeks a diverse group that is willing to share thoughts and experiences.
